    Debt Counselling

    Debt Counselling is a formal legal process that provides for a consumer to be declared over indebted and for the Debt Counsellor to negotiate a restructured payment plan and obtain a court order confirming the new repayment plan.

    Debt Consolidation

    Debt Consolidation refers to the act of taking out a new loan to pay off other liabilities and consumer debts. Multiple debts are combined into a single, larger debt, such as a loan, usually with a lower interest rate, lower monthly payment, or both.

    Debt review is a process whereby a debt counsellor assesses your outstanding debt and puts in place a restructured debt repayment plan. The debt counsellor will renegotiate interest rates and repayment terms with your credit providers to reduce them.
